Life in Lil' Rhody

Once moving to the midwest, I often visited my family back east, spending up to 2 weeks every summer between Warwick / Cranston and Mishnock Pond.  After high school, I returned and lived on Post Road.  The highlighted routes connect my aunts home on Mishnock Road, my grandmothers manor on Main Street by Providence Street, my neighborhood on Post Road in Warwick, and the George B. Salter Grove breakers.

After this compilation of meta data from RIGIS.org and reflection of history to provide details of my home life experience, this block group is seen as a target location for late life residency.  Further analysis may include an examination of parcels by tax code, water tables for the sake of well access to fresh water, and near by veteran hospitals for late life care.

I recall as a young boy, living two blocks east of my school on Sackett Street, shopping local markets and watching b-boys on Broad Street,

and visiting my father at his 3 story walk up on Wentworth Avenue.  Routes highlighted offer insight on my common paths and approaches to the city core and the Providence River Walk Park.

On days off from work, regardless of the time of year, I enjoyed taking off to the South County beaches.  Black Point Cove was a nice place to escape and enjoy solitude along cliffs, and Scarborough Beach was always a crowded public beach with a good chance to be cut on glass.  Point Judith offered a great place to dine on lobster while watching boats unload fresh catches of scallops, as well as a place to dig for quahogs in salt ponds.
